Suncatcher by Valiant Swart

Suncatcher

Won't you see if you can catch the sun
There's a room in the house where the sun can be hung
It's dark by the window in the middle of the day
Remember how bright the room could be with laughter

See if you can bring the sun to me
There's a song in the halls that the sun can sing
Because it's quiet in these corners, this cold season
Can you see what the wind and the rain does to me

S-u-n catcher
I beg of you, let it shine for me again

S-u-n catcher
Let me understand
How a summer disappears like that
And let it shine

Won't you see if you can find the sun
There's a house in my heart where the sun can stay
Won't you see if you can steal the sun for me
There's a place in the garden where the sun can play

Bring a little light for the forks in my road
And a handful of rays for the dark in my heart
